Night of Authors

In First Grade, Kelsie learned a lot about writing her own stories. Throughout the year she would write stories and make a little book we got at the end of the year. On April 16th we were invited to "A Night of Authors". Her class all picked their favorite story they wrote and got to publish there little story. It was really cute. Kelsie's was about cats. Each page had a really cute picture illustrated by her, the author.

Easter

I love Easter. I love all the spring flowers and I love to see all the grass turn green. And I love to remember why we celebrate Easter. I am so grateful for the Atonement and the blessings it brings to me and my family.
Every year we have an Easter hunt with the Blair family and another one with just my family. Each year getts a little more fun because the kids actually understand that they need to run a little bit faster so they can get a little more eggs this year. Friday Aunt Jinny had the Blair hunt at her house. We ate some yummy food, frosted cookies and then wenting hunting.







Saturday ended up being a little crazy. We went to Bowman's and frosted Easter Cakes. And then came home and everyone came over for our Easter Egg hunt. Garret hurt his finger on something and we forgot to put out my mom's eggs she brought. We all had fun in the end.







After the egg hunt we headed over for Kynzi's wedding. You look beautiful Kynzi. And we wish you and Dave the very best!
Easter Sunday turned out to be a wonderful day. We went to church and learned about Easter. Went to the park for our Easter pictures and then home to see if the bunny came. It was a nice relazing day...

Monthly Update...(long post)

I don't know why I have such a hard time updating my blog...but I do. We have done some fun things that last month. I took Garret, Bridger and Dakota to the Living Planet Aquarium. It was fun...but seriously not worth the money or the long drive. It is in a old grocery store, and you walk through the whole place in like 30 minutes. Anyways, we love the sting rays cause you could touch them and the sharks. We were also in love with the little alligators. Check out the pictures.




So I have heard alot about the Kangaroo Zoo from Jody and I've seen a few commercials about it too. I've been wanting to go check it out. So we finally did. We love it! Just wish it was a little closer. Davis County really sucks when it comes to fun stuff to do...Or I guess you could say Kaysville.



Emily hosted our fun ward Girls Night Out. We always have a blast and staying up way too late and laughing. We had a fun night playing wii fit. Thanks Kim for stepping up on the scale for us all. :) And thanks to Emily for hosting!
Conference weekend my sister-in-law's and mother-in-law had a fabulous Girls Night Out. We got a room at Comfort Inn in Layton and we went to dinner, shopped, laughed and crafted/scrapbooked. It was a blast!




Then for Spring Break we went 4-wheelin' with Jody, Dan & their kids, my mom and Hollie and our kids. It was seriously the funniest place ever. We went to Delle, it is on your way to Wendover. They have a small BMX track. The kids loved it. It was the first time officially riding their 4-wheeler on a road (not in the field). The jumps were really fun. I didn't realize how high you can go...WHOA! I was pretty sore after.







Emily invited us over for a fun day of coloring eggs and decorating an egg jigglar. I had a fun time chatting with Emily and getting to know her a little bit more. Thank you Emily!!
