Cabin Fun

I LOVE MY FAMILY!!

So we just spent last week (Wed. - Sunday) with my family at the Johnson Family Cabin in Idaho. It was so much fun. We use to go here just about every year until the Webster's decided to buy a cabin by Strawberry Reservoir. Very Sad Day! Thankfully the Johnson's have a cabin there and I still get to go.
The Palisades Lake was full this year which meant we could jump off the bridge. We haven't done that for years and it was such a blast. Kelsie was so brave and jumped also, it surprised me, and she is so proud of herself too. We also went tubing down the Salt River a couple of times. The water was ice cold but after you were all numb it didn't matter. Saturday we took a quick ride to Jackson Hole, another thing we always did, and walked through the shops and watch the cowboy shoot out. The kids were surprisingly pretty good for the most but were really excited to get toy guns. That night was pretty crazy all 11 of the kids had a shoot out of their own.
It was so nice being with all of my family and remembering all the fun times we had together and it was fun being able to create more memories. I love my family so much, they are a very important part of my life and I certainly wouldn't be here today if I didn't have them.

**We missed you Traci and Kevin and I hope the dang baby of yours decides to come soon. We will have to plan another trip next year when you guys can come.

A VERY CRAZY DAY!

So yesterday I had great plans to get all my laundry done so I could get all packed for our trip Wednesday to our Cabin. Well it didn't go quit that way. At about 9:45 Garret ran into our railing and cut his head open. YES AGAIN! Just about a month away from the one at the dinosaur park. Aaron thankfully was around and was able to take him to the doctor for more stitches. I can't handle the blood and shot thing. You would think by now I was use to it. NOPE!
Then I got a phone call and a lady want to try on swim suits at 1:00. I'm not complaining about that. The extra money is always nice. But I didn't get home from that until 4:30. Then when I got home Bridger was having an Asthma attack, very scarry. So I took him into the doctor and got new meds. By the time I finally got home it was 8:00 and I had to take my car over to the mechanic to get fixed for today.
Well if you didn't catch on to everything, it was just a very crazy day and I didn't get done what I planned for. I am so grateful that I have a wonderful husband, that was so flexible yesterday, and he even moved my laundry along so I pretty much just need to fold alot of clothes now.

DINOSAURS!

Yesterday Cherri invited us to go to the Dinosaur Park for Braxton's birthday. We gladly accepted. It was so funny to see the kids faces when we walked up the stairs and saw dinosaurs moving. They were a little scared, and Braxton was very scared and turned around and ran. He did the same thing when we walked out side and heard all the dinosaur sounds. Garret and Bridger loved all the dinosaurs, Garret would sometimes pretend he was scared and would scream and run away.

It was a really nice day to go, not very many people and not too hot (maybe a little cold at times). We had just eaten a late lunch and the kids were playing on the playground and as I was talking a picture of Kelsie, Cherri yelled "Brandi you might have hurt one." So I slowly turned around, slowly because one of mine always gets hurt, whats new, another scratch. Well to my surprise it was Garret who had fallen out of the slide and we thought he had just scratched his arm. As I was brushing him off Cherri said look at his head. I kind of rubbed my fingers on the side of his head and sure enough there was a gash in his head. That slide must have been a pretty dangerous slide 'cause he had a big scratch on his knee and arm and then the cut on his head. So we left the fun dinosaur park and went straight to the doctors for some fun screaming and stitches.
Thank you for the fun day Cherri we really did have fun. And I know you will be sure to invite us next time because we always have some sort of excitement to bring. Haha!

Our Little Dancer

We had a really busy weekend, but fun! Saturday Kelsie had her dance recital and was in Act I for Ballet and Act II for tumbling. Kelsie was so funny! She was trying really hard to see us out in the audience and would tip her head down and squint; she then put her hands up around her eyes like binoculars and eventually found us.
Kelsie did very well and we were so proud of her.

Kelsie has Graduated Kingergarten

Kelsie's graduation was so cute. She was quit the entertainer. I tried to upload a video of Kelsie singing, I couldn't get it to work. But she was so cute, totally getting into the music swaying back and forth and bounceing to the beat.
Kelsie loves school and loved her teacher Ms. Liddell. She gets a little emotional when thinking she is going to miss her teacher and all of her friends. I can't believe it is already over. It makes me feel so old. Kelsie has learned so much this year and I'm excited to watch her learn and grown more throughout the years. I LOVE YOU KELS!! And I'm so proud of you!
